Casting Light

My vacation was around the corner and I was procrastinating like a professional, waiting to finish laundry and pack my things. Not to mention tending to the last bits of business one takes care of before going away for a week.

I turned on the light to combat the growing darkness night brought with it and this heart made an appearance on the wall as light flooded the dining room.

Before I had the chance to beat myself up for taking my sweet time to get everything done, I was given pause by the heart.

Because sometimes what looks like procrastination is really your soul taking time to savor each step.
