I was out for a walk one morning, tea in my thermos, camera in hand and looking to get the day started off on the right foot.
It’s a practice I often engage in when I have the free time. There are few ways so wonderful to start a day, than seeing the wonder and innocence in the world around us.
It helped too, that the foliage at the time was still holding hands and gently caressing the leafy greens the summer didn’t want to give up just yet.
And as if on cue, in the midst of a thought of how grateful I am for this life and all its ups and downs, a heart revealed itself to me, in the shadows and shapes of small branches of a tree overgrown with brush.
It was so faint, but it looked nontheless like a beautiful work of art made just for our enjoyment.
More than these encounters with Love, I’m grateful for the eyes to see just how wonderful they are.
