On The Sidewalk

It was freezing cold one morning and I was making my way to work early. I wanted the extra time to decompress before starting the day and settling in mentally before physically starting the day.

While walking I had a number of things on my mind- things that weren’t altogether stressful on their own, but that I was making mountains of by not trusting my gut feeling about them.

Walking towards the corner, my train of thoughts were interrupted by this heart on the side walk.

Just in time to stop the thoughts from going any further, the heart brought me back to my center, to realize that I was making a mountain of something that had no business being a mountain.

Just in time to turn around the day before I let my mind get carried away with it.

Just in time, finding hearts.
