I got back from camping and there was a strange box sitting on the dining room table.
The sun was hanging low in the sky and I was getting ready to go out with one of my friends for sushi dinner. I was so thrilled and looking forward to connecting with this friend who I hadn’t for quite some time.
It was, by all accounts, the perfect weekend when I needed it the most and it ended up that I was able to connect with someone I was hoping to, for a while.
I asked about what was in the box while snooping and checking out its contents. The first thing I saw, more than the icing or the shortbread, was the heart-shaped jelly on top of the cookie.
Even though I couldn’t eat them, they were a delicious reminder of the joys of the weekend that just passed and sometimes, that’s enough.
The hearts can be all important but they also serve as little reminders that the Universe has our back and is encouraging us along. After that incredible weekend away, I couldn’t agree more that it did have my back and it restored my belief that good things were still happening, and perfectly at that.
